By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order or engaging our services.

Our Services

SciScribe Solutions provides professional services in scientific research support, academic writing, editing, and statistical analysis. These services are tailored, client-specific, and primarily delivered digitally. By using our services, you agree to abide by these terms.

Service Usage & Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Content provided must be legal and original
  • No misuse for plagiarism or academic dishonesty

Payments

All services are prepaid unless agreed otherwise. Custom quotes are shared after consultation and must be paid via secure links (Razorpay, Stripe, etc.). Taxes may apply.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Before Project Work Begins

If you decide to cancel your project before any work has started, we will issue a 100% full refund. This applies if you change your mind after payment but before our editors or consultants begin working on your document or analysis. Please notify us as soon as possible to avoid delays in processing your refund.

If cancellation occurs after project work has begun but before final delivery, a partial refund may be granted. The refunded amount will depend on how much work has already been completed. We will deduct applicable administrative charges and the cost of the work already performed. You will be provided a breakdown if requested.

Note: If a partial output has already been delivered (e.g., draft or first revision), that portion is considered billable.

Once the final service output (such as edited files, formatted manuscript, analysis report, or figures) has been delivered, no refunds will be issued. Exceptions are made only if there is a clear, verifiable failure to meet the original agreed-upon scope of work, as outlined at the time of project acceptance.

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Client delay or non-response during the project.

  • Missing, incomplete, or incorrect materials shared by the client.

  • Misuse of the final output or misrepresentation of our services.

  • Change of mind after agreed timelines or final delivery.

  • Requests for refunds based on subjective preferences rather than objective errors.

**All refund requests must be made in writing within 7 calendar days of delivery.

Revisions

1–2 free rounds of revisions within 7 days. Major changes beyond scope may be charged.

Shipping & Delivery

All deliveries are digital via email or secure links. No physical shipping.

Intellectual Property

  • Full ownership transfers only upon full payment.
  • SciScribe may use anonymized excerpts (with permission).
  • No resale or misattribution will be allowed.

Limitation of Liability

  • Decisions based on delivered work.

    • We provide academic support services such as editing, formatting, statistical analysis, and scientific visuals. Our services are not a substitute for independent academic judgment or decision-making. We are not liable for any outcomes—academic, professional, or otherwise—that may result from the use of the materials we deliver, including submissions, publications, or interpretations derived from our content

  • We shall not be liable for tech/service delays.

    • While we aim for timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by third-party service outages including but not limited to:

      • Email delivery failures (spam filters, inbox restrictions)

      • Cloud storage access issues (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox)

      • Server downtime, internet connectivity, or file upload errors

      In such rare events, we will work to resolve issues swiftly, but no liability is assumed for delays beyond our control.

  • Accuracy and Use of Statistical/Editorial Content 
    • We take utmost care to ensure that all data interpretations, editing suggestions, and formatting changes align with academic best practices. However, it is the client’s responsibility to review and verify the final content before submission or publication. We do not take responsibility for misinterpretation, misapplication, or unintended consequences arising from the delivered work.
  • Misuse or Misrepresentation 

    • We are not responsible for the misuse of our services or deliverables, including:

      • Using edited or formatted content for unethical academic purposes

      • Falsely attributing authorship or analytical conclusions

      • Violating institutional or journal policies based on our materials

      SciScribe Solutions reserves the right to reject liability in cases of such misuse.

Changes & Updates

We may periodically update our Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements.
The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date clearly displayed.
